787 BAEFB TABLET “MAKESHIFT” VERSION
Contrary to the standard Boeing-integrated EFB, in real life, we went ahead and just inserted a tablet we had from a previous project. It’s makeshift because it’s supposed to resemble and operate as a portable tablet, not a Boeing-integrated type. We consider this EFB to be temporary.
Understand we did this because there’s no way to insert a portable touchable object inside an inaccessible part of this premium deluxe product of the 787.
This is a small summary of what’s running in the BAEFB.
In order to log into Simbrief simply click on the COG on the top right corner of the EFB screen. Enter your Simbrief ID.

Service
All Ground Services functions work. As well for the PUSHBACK Call Tug.
Door control will activate DOOR FWD LEFT, DOOR AFTER RIGHT. -All doors will work very soon.
CABIN: Attendant Call
All announcements should work. They are better heard closer to the cockpit door or inside the passenger cabin.
More buttons will be added and we are attempting to add more legitimate sounds from other airlines.
CABIN: Lighting
Cabin control works but it was best to not release it on the first launch. It’s not a priority item but a luxury for some.
This feature will arrive in weeks.
