How to use the BravoAirspace 787 family in FS2024.
We are more interested for you to utilize this plane using the full FS2024 experience. But for those who want to get their wings wet, this guide shows you how to make your BA 787 work in Flight Simulator 2024.
Remember these two elements: The systems in the cockpit will represent the 787-10 RR engine. The default 787-10. We will do our best to overwrite the default folder so the variant can display correctly. As of now, this is what we’ve found to be an issue.
The other problem is when you land the plane, with a combination of REVERSE THRUST and SPOILERS, the plane will jump in the air. Avoid using REVERSE THRUST, let the plane slow down using maybe brakes and spoilers.
The main issue: SPEEDBRAKES. Just by using them in mid flight the plane will spin out of control.
If you don’t use Simbrief imports, be careful. Weight and balance can be far from realistic at the moment. However, we have to fly them both more in FS2024, and we will do our best to pinpoint the issues. Ensure that you also focus on the empty CG when handling weight and balance.
If you utilize Simbrief, you’ll be fine. ZFW will give you issues because you will not be using our 787 systems modifications, which will be based on the -10 variant. So try to input the ZFW as close as possible to what the FMC is giving you.
In the game, on the top right corner click the FS icon.
Select “MY LIBRARY”
On the left side, click on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Click on MSFS2020 PREMIUM DELUXE UPGRADE or type “787-10” on the search bar on the right. You’ll find the aircraft below, “ASOBO-AIRCRAFT-B787-10”.
Click on the blue box of the Asobo plane.
An option to ENABLE it will appear. Click on it and press on Enable.
The game will tell you that you’ll need to restart the sim in order to see the plane. When you return, the plane will be streamed to your library.
